Adding GoodSeeker RSS Feed to a Hubspot Blog with Images

Because Hubspot’s Blog Tool does NOT allow for you to pull in Images from a source we need to take an alternative approach workaround. This approach combines 1) creating a new embed code using your RSS URL as the source, then 2) embedding code via Hubspot’s “embed” block.

Step 1: Create a new embed code using your RSS URL

Currently Goodseeker does not provide the option to generate an embed code from the RSS URL (coming asap). Therefore you need to use another 3rd party tool to do this. There are a number of “RSS to Embed Generator” tools for this.

Typical Steps with 3rd party “RSS to Embed Generator”

  1. Enter your public RSS URL.

  2. Apply any styles allowed by the tool.

  3. Generate your embed code (iframe of javascript)

  4. Add to Hubspot blog as a block

We like RSS.app as a tool because it provides a lot of customization and styling options.

  1. Visit RSS.app and create an account.

  2. Create a New Feed by entering your PUBLIC RSS link from GoodSeeker.

  3. Create a Widget and select the Style you prefer and customize as desired.

  4. Select “Add to Website: and insert the code provided into your Hubspot Blog. You are provided with both iFrame and JavaScript embed options.
